I have been fortunate enough in my business endeav

I have been fortunate enough in my business endeavours to network with this amazing organization @youthvillageca that supports young black and LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs. There is an upcoming event at Durham College of which I am an alum, and I will be one of the highlighted speakers. This event is on September 25th from 1-4pm. The link to register is below. As well as a short intro from the organization themselves.

“The Youth Village Organization (TYVO) is a Black-led, Black-serving and Black-focus (B3) organization. Our organization is built on intergenerational collaboration between youth and community elders.

The mission of the Youth Village is to support youth through their entrepreneurship journey. By support we provide networking opportunities, intergenerational conversations, mentorship, entrepreneurship training and business development services such as website, accounting services and social media support. Our programming is intentional about its support to Black and LGBTQ+ youth. We seek to foster individual entrepreneurial successes and to stimulate broader social and economic development in a region with acute needs.

The “Intergenerational Conversations” project is a series of mentorship sessions where experienced professionals provide guidance to youth on developing their business ideas. Activities include workshops and group discussions aimed at sharing knowledge and skills.

Join us for a stimulating seminar where students can engage in pod discussions and explore the world of entrepreneurship together.”

While I may not belong to these communities myself, I believe in striving to help all entrepreneurs succeed in their endeavours. I have worked hard to establish myself in the business community of Durham and have studied the art of entrepreneurship in an educational setting. It is my goal that with my shared knowledge and experience I can mentor and help other young entrepreneurs grow to their full potential. There is a link to register below:

We will clear out all your stuff if you don’t have the time, we will throw out all the garbage for you, we will even refresh your car seats for you free of charge if you ask. (And no we will not tell you about all the food we find under the seats). We will also never up charge you. What we quote is what you pay!
